How long are you online a week?

            How long do you work on the internet?

 

            Now that is the question, I mean think about it how long does one spend on the internet?  I mean you’re either surfing for pictures of naked people or your just looking for something cool you tube.

            For me thought it’s a little bit more, I mean I usually spend a lot of my time online playing games with my friends and finding the sweet satisfaction of just blowing something way in 3D pixels.  But while I’m not killing anybody, digitally that is, I spend much of my time looking through artwork posted on Deviantart.com.  This usually takes me about, two to three hours depending how curious I am on what’s the greatest piece posted and how I want to comment on a particular image.

            For gaming though, you really lose track of time.  But I was able to play my game, Planetside, in a window screen and found I spend about six to seven hours playing online.  I’m sure there are people out there who spend more…maybe even the whole day, Thank God that isn’t me.  Like I said earlier in previous posts I like to be productive so when I play a game its mainly to relax and take a break.  If I don’t do anything productive or worthwhile I feel the days lost.

            But there is more to what I do online than just game and look at art.  I also like to watch the Youtube videos of old 80’s-90’s cartoons like ‘The Real Ghostbusters’, ‘Thundercats’, ‘Transformers(original)’, and anything related to ‘Doctor Who’ from the BBC.  Now if you want say a total estimate of how long that takes….well it’s tricky especially since the cartoons range from like 30 minutes or so.  SO on estimate I would say I spend about…somewhere between six and seven hours.

 

            Now comes the fun part of all this, for a total number of hours I spend online in a week.  Let me check my math here…I would say I spend about 80 hours online for a whole week.  Now, since I’m in college right now taking classes its 80 or less a week but when I’m at home with no distractions I can be online to at least 100 hours on a week, at best.
