Once upon a time…

November 15, 2008

A sparrow crapped on my head, then my sister died by the hands of some royal ass hole, I met this kick ass dog who finds me all kinds of awesome treasure, and I’m supposedly a gypsy now trying to seek revenge for the death of my sister.  If this sounds familiar it’s possible you have been playing the newly released game title Fable 2 by Lionhead Studios.  This game is the long awaited sequal to the first Fable released on the Xbox.  With new graphics, features and the ability to become the ultimate landlord by owning property you can find tones of fun through this game.  Through owning property you can gold every 5 minutes for every building you own as well as discounts from any store you own.  Once more the money still comes in every 5 minutes, even when you’re game is off how cool is that.  So I haven’t been playing since last Sunday, so I’m pretty sure I have a but load of gold now XD.  If you want to play a game where you can be either good or evil, own property, marry multiple spouses at once, have a little brat kid, chose what kind of attire to wear (guy or girl) and go around killing everything insite for the shear fun of it.  This is a game worth trying out.  I give it a 12 out of 10.  I’d give it a 100 but…ya know, no need to go crazy right.

A game review…sort of

A game review…sort of

Well I actually thought about writing a personal review of a game I tried out.  The game I wnt to focus on is one called ‘Dead Space’.  This game is focuses on a loan engineer who is tasked with trying to repair a damaged ship, we still don’t know how it was damaged.  But as we enter the ship we find these monsters which are apparently crafted from human beings or something.  I’m still playing through the game and I’m still not getting into anything about the game.  Yes it looks pretty, and your character isn’t this super soldier / space marine with bad ass armor and weapons.  He’s just an engineer with welding and cutting tools for weapons, which is kind of bad ass.  But I’m not too impress with the rest of the game, the monsters are typical of this particular storyline.  You have this grand sized space ship, floating in space with some kind of strange problem: “Hmm…I wonder why they aren’t answering?”  You go in, get attacked by this monster thing: “WHAT THE FUCK WAS THAT?”  Then, for whatever reason, you go in to find out more.  Which to me I would rather say: “you know what, I’m outta here!  I’m not fighting space monsters!”.  I really don’t know how to really rank this on a scale of 1 – 10, other than if you want a good scare and want to play as a character who isn’t this bad ass super soldier with a sexy girlfriend then this is the game for you.  But for me, it was a waste of $50 and I’m going to get my money back!

Just a quick update

November 15, 2008

Well I’m in the running end of my final assignments.  Finally all of the pain, turmoil, and thousands of empty Dr. Pepper bottles will be worth the effort I put into everything I’ve made.

I’ve been busy with so many things like my figure modeling in 3D software and creating an unreal map.  Both of these things have been my main focus especially considering all of the other assignments I have to go through.

I realize I’m just spouting nonsense right now, but I’m taking time to write something for those who may actually take the time to read through my stuff.

I guess what I’m tring to say is, that I’m sorry for being away for so long but I’ve been busy, as I said above.  That and I’m feeling a little light headed frm starng at the computer monitor for so long XP.
